TradExpert Team Welcomes Interns from the National Pedagogical University (UPN) for a One-Month Internship
As part of its commitment to
developing the next generation of language professionals, TradExpert Team is
pleased to welcome students from the National Pedagogical University (UPN) for
a one-month academic internship. Held
every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the internship combines hands-on
professional experience, personalized mentoring, and skills development in
translation, interpreting, and multilingual communication.
At the beginning of the internship,
the students were welcomed by Mr. Éloge Mulumba, a Sworn Translator and
Interpreter, who introduced them to the firm's activities, vision, and the
professional standards of the translation and interpreting industry. In addition to providing professional translation and
interpreting services, TradExpert Team actively contributes to capacity
building through training in English, digital tools, and translation
technologies.
During the introductory discussions,
we learned that each intern will carry out an applied research project on a
specific area of translation as part of their academic work at their alma
mater. The projects will focus on
comparative text analysis, idiomatic expressions, and terminology in local
languages. These research activities will enable the students to deepen their
linguistic knowledge, strengthen their analytical skills, and adopt a methodological
approach aligned with professional standards.
Beyond technical competencies, the
internship is designed to prepare the students for their future professional
careers. They will gain practical
experience, develop quality-oriented work habits, become familiar with
industry-standard methods and tools, enhance their project management skills,
and gain a better understanding of the expectations of both national and
international clients and institutions.
Through this initiative, TradExpert
Team reaffirms its commitment to excellence, knowledge sharing, and the
promotion of emerging talent in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. By investing in the next generation of translators and
